Morocco is set to host its inaugural WAM (World Advanced Manufacturing) event, marking a significant milestone in the country's industrial and technological development. This groundbreaking conference will showcase Morocco's commitment to advancing manufacturing technologies, attracting international investors, and positioning itself as a key player in the global industrial landscape.

In partnership with the CGEM and the AMDIE, WAM Morocco will be organized by Kaoun International from October 28 to 30, 2025, at the International Fair of Casablanca. WAM Morocco aims to promote the emergence of new sectors and to strengthen the industrial capacity of the country for sustainable growth.
Organized under the auspices of the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Commerce in partnership with the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM) and the Moroccan Agency for Development, Investment, and Exports (AMDIE), the World Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics Expo & Summit (WAM Morocco) will make its debut at the International Fair of Casablanca (FIC) from 28 to 30 October 2025. The objective of this event is to propel the manufacturing industry in Morocco to sectors of the new generation.
The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Commerce, Riyadh Mezzour, said that "WAM Morocco represents an important step in the course of Morocco to become one of the main hubs of advanced manufacturing in Africa and in the world. To participate in this event highlights the commitment of our nation to innovation, economic resilience, and industrial leadership".
The President and CEO of Kaoun International, Trixie LohMirmand, stressed that the event is a strategic move to Morocco, speeding up the reputation of the country and the continent in the high-tech industries and offering unprecedented access to the technological capacity of the world. "WAM Morocco is about to trigger a new wave of industrial revolution in Africa, paving the way for accelerated growth on the world stage," he adds.
However, the summit is committed to advancing and supporting the vision of Morocco to become a hub of manufacturing and logistics for sustainability and competitiveness on a global scale, focusing on leading-edge technologies such as AI, quantum computation, 3D printing, the blockchain, and mixed reality.
In this framework, WAM Morocco will include a series of special events, including WAP (World Advanced Packaging, Printing, and Plastic Technologies), dedicated to innovations in packaging and the technology of plastics; WASIM (World Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing), which focuses on sustainable manufacturing; and advanced WIM (World Industrial Materials), dedicated to the industrial materials of the tip. These events are designed to foster partnerships between the public and private sectors, attract foreign investment, and support the strengthening of local capacities, contributing to an economic impact that is sustainable and consolidating the role of Morocco as an African leader in manufacturing technology and sustainability, according to a briefing note.
Morocco is based on a solid foundation in the automotive and aerospace industries, driven by projects such as the Fez Smart Factory and the National Strategy of the Ports 2030, with a budget of $600 million. These initiatives have attracted foreign investments that are significant. Morocco has become the largest non-European automotive exporter to Europe. In addition, it occupies an important place in the aviation sector, with exports totaling $2.2 billion, in the service of customers, such as Boeing and Airbus.
